1:12 scale miniature floor lamp inspired by the iconic mid-century grasshopper lamp.

This is a task light that illuminates a specific area like a spot light.  Great to place next to a sofa or armchair for reading.

I put in one 3-volt LED bulb in this lamp.   It is powered by a CR2032 battery.   The tripod legs were joined with solder.

Lay the cord behind the lamp as photoed.  Adjust the cord (for example, gently lift it slightly off ground where it comes out from the back of the front leg) may help balance the lamp or keep it steady.
