Retro lava lamp in 1-inch scale that lights up.  I made three and this one is smaller than the other two. 

Though the bubbles inside the lamp do not move, this lamp is mesmerizing when it lits, IMO.

The blue liquid inside is cured resin.  I made the faux bubbles from polymer clay.  The stand and lid were painted silver.

One 3-volt LED (non-replaceable) is installed.  It is powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery.

The battery pack includes a built-in on/off switch.

Since the wires and the battery pack are heavier than the lamp, you will need blue tac or putty to help keep the lamp in place.

There is a little recess on the underside of the stand to hold the tac/putty.
