This is a 3D printed plastic holder to recycle water bottle caps (1" diameter) as little dishes for your acrylic paints.
There are six round recesses to hold the bottle caps.
I need a palette that doesn't require clearning after use. I actually can use the same cap for the same color, use after use.
I consider it a design for environmental friendliness as bottle caps are reused and less effort in cleaning the dried paint.
Before I 3D printed the holders with recesses, I hot glued the plastic caps to a strip of scrap wood. Yet, every time I needed to replace the caps, I have to get my hot glue gun turned on. With this 3D printed holder, the caps will stay in place and no more pulling out old caps etc. etc. I love it!
Please note that item printed in PLA plastic will have visible layer lines. The surface is not as smooth as resin printed objects.
