Custom built 1-inch scale mid-century styled table lamp with cork vase/post and faux parchment shade with lacing.

It has lots of lovely old world charm to it.

The resin shade is hand painted.  I used waxed thread for lacing.

Cork vase was shaped with sand paper on a wood lathe. It was matte varnished.

A copper  disc painted silvery was added to the bottom of the vase to add a little weight to the lamp as the cork is almost weightless.  :)

Thia lamp is battery powered by a CR2032 battery.  Please refer to the last photo for the type of battery pack used.
