This 1-inch scale mid-century styled desk was inspired by the Lovig desk.

The original is a flip top that expands when the hutch is flipped over and down.

Though this one does not have the hinges for flipping, it does have lots of details.

There are four functional drawers, lots of dividers to form cubbies for storage and two removable trays.

I built it from solid cherry for the desk and maple for drawer interiors.

The bisected inset pulls are so adorable!

It is a handsome piece of miniature furniture.
